Hi guys!
I did the first version of the Triceratops skeleton walk cycle. I had a TON of fun figuring this guy out. If you guys decide to use him, you'll notice that he's very glitchy (front torso's elbow joints). Some controls don't work too well, but I did the best I could with what I had.
Let me know what you guys think!

This looks great and it will be nice to use this for a slower heavier walk for next weeks assignment. My only notes are to keep an eye on the y rotation in the chest it looks like there might be some sort of speed up going on in one part of the cycle. It also might be nice to add some more ups and down to the chest and head I think the pelvis is moving nicely, so don't touch that. But a bit more y trans in the chest and head might help a little bit. I like the motion on the legs and arms. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Pete! I have just finished the edit to this animation, and I hope you like it! I made it slower as well (per suggestion of a friend of mine), and it looks a lot better. The tY on the chest and head definitely added a lot to it :) I layered it in with the Head's z rotation.

This looks great Isai. Nic work. My only note is to add a slight translation down to the tail at some point so it feel like there is more of an arc to the tail motion. it feels a bit flat to me right now. But the weight and overall mechanics are really nice. Great job.
DeleteIsai,
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! I don't really have any notes for you, it looks very polished to me.
